This custom home was designed to be this families dream home.  The layout takes advantage of the amazing Mt. Sopris views from as may rooms as possible. The house was designed in 4 major massing areas; the main living areas on the south east side, the private bedrooms on the west side, and the connector hallway in-between that houses the stair.  On the north side of the home is the attached garage and an outbuilding is home to a workshop and camper garage.

The kitchen is the most important room for these clients and was given the largest priority.  This chef's kitchen features an abundance of natural light, great views, ample storage, and a comfortable layout.   The connection of indoor and outdoor living spaces was equally important and most interior spaces open up to a corresponding exterior space. Right outside the kitchen is the raised bed garden area where herbs and produce are grown.  The gazebo on the south side of the home provides an inviting space for outdoor cooking and dining. Small zero-scaped courtyards define the zones between the living and sleeping areas of the home.​
