RANCH HOME RENOVATION

This 50 year old modern ranch style home received an addition, complete remodel of interior spaces, and a deep energy retrofit.  The exposed post and beam home has great bones but was severely under insulated.  It is now brought up to better than code insulation levels while maintaining the much loved post and beam look of the interior.  All exterior materials have been replaced with fire resistive materials in the process.

This home has long served as a family gathering place for the extended family.  The kitchen was enlarged into the previous mechanical space making the kitchen so much larger and more functional than it has ever been; perfect for large family gatherings.
